per the DMN:

Ironic that the write-up conveys disappointment that SMU is the only offer for the 5'11, 240 lb NT. I'm pretty sure SMU's one of the only schools in Texas in the market for diminuitive DL. Hopefully he either grows a couple of inches or gains 60 lbs and is another Booger whatever his name was at NTSU.

Now some questions:
How tall is his mother?
How tall is his father?
How much do they weight?

Does he have some uncles that are bigger.

Here you go, what is shuttle time and 40 time.

Glad that he is a focussed young man and I hope that all things work out as he prays.
Peace be with you.

I doubt that any of them have eligiblity remaining.

I do but the DR's say no way.
Too many fake parts.

I do have a year left but I have forgotten where it is.

The article makes him sound a little ungrateful. He gets an offer to play for free at a great school that has one of the great coaching staffs around. If he does get an OSU offer then good riddance. I am amazed this kid has not commited yet. SMU is on the rise.

This guy looks less promising than that safety with the 4.7. Pretty good stats, but he looks like a thick QB in that photo. Where's the beef? Can we at least get some 330lb fat guy and mold him into something? I'm not saying this guy will never be a player, but it's disappointing when we recruit all these undersized guys hoping they will turn into something great.

If he can move, maybe they envision him at DE, and Henderson bumping inside to DT?

Jessie? They will break him into pieces.

If he's as explosive as advertised, he could excel on the End, or he could find a role with the linebackers after a year as a redshirt. While obviously his coach and his parents are going to be biased, the article certainly made him look more attractive than Viafale.

The problem is there are only a limited amount of 300 pound high school linemen. The top teams jump on these kids. The rest of the schools have to take undersized kids and hope they grow and put on weight. The biggest difference between good and bad teams are the size of the lines. Junes Jones has said he will take kids who may be undersized but make plays...."film does not lie" We would all like 300 pound defensive tackles but Texas, OU, and LSU get most of them every year.

*sigh* The whole story is about how small he is it seems like, hopefully he has great speed and they are recruiting him as a LB... 5 ' 11'" is way to short for a DE. Thats like how big Rudy was at the position.

Agreed...He doesn't seem very interested in our offer...

From my understanding he will be a DT for SMU if he commits.

The Hebron coach has some good comments about him at the end of the interview.

What I took from the story was that SMU was just a fall back school for him. A last resort. Maybe that is not his true attitude but if it is, I do not know if we need him that bad.
