Per Rivals, KJ committed last night to SMU. Hope he can make his grades because it sounds like he can hit!

Safety or cornerback? I'm guessing safety.
WELCOME TO SMU, K.J.!

Let's start a pipeline to Corona Centennial. He will be a hard hitting saftey for SMU.

My thoughts exactly. Rivals has him listed as a safety.

You win! I thought it would be at least tomorrow before that comparison was made....

WOW. we need guys that can create turnovers. look at the first half from saturday - get turnovers and put the offense back on the field to score!
great pickup.

Doesn't look very fast at all. Rivals has him listed at 4.7, which looks about accurate on film. I really think we need some speed, i.e. ballhawk type player at safety. Course, good ole Roy sure managed to cover up his lack of speed at OU...

So this kid has ZERO offers and we compare him to 2 multi-time All-Pro NFL safeties, Troy Polamalu and Roy Williams.
What a bunch of baloney.

Beat me to it...this kid might be good, but I doubt he's a future NFL pro bowler.
And let's hope he's better in coverage than one of those guys...

I disagree, I think a recruit's hairstyle is a great indicator of what type of NFL player he will be.

Yeah, but Williams was good at OU.
I hope this kid covers better than Williams does now (not at all).

Settle down, the Roy comparison was a little sarcastic. Great job on evaluating the fact that this kid is a marginal prospect. I thought I pointed it out by recognizing he is another SMU safety with bad speed. We recruit a bunch of WAY undersized linebackers.
