So they visited Louisville and K-State, respectively; this weekend.

When should we start feeling optimistic that neither committed to these schools and we are still in the hunt?

For Dotson, I'm keeping tabs on this Louisville link.

Here's a link to a Kansas State website. Sounds like their March Madness event was not well attended (about 2,000) and boring.

some preliminary reports coming in on Rivals. They spoke with the other Seattle kid that visited Louisville and no mention of commitment. Dotson still expected to visit Washington next week and then decide.

Yep - you're right Stallion. Below is some info.

Along with the current players, Siva also spent time with another recruit who could become a future Cardinal. Aaron Dotson, a 6-4 guard who is also from Seattle, made an official visit as well.

"Aaron is a cool dude. He enjoyed his visit, and hopefully he decides to play here, too," Siva mentioned. Dotson plans to visit Washington next week, and then decide between LSU, SMU, Washington and Louisville in early Nov.

I think it's huge that he went to Louisville on Midnight Madness weekend, was subjected to Pitino's best shot, and didn't commit.

same time we would. We've had recruiting commitment stories on Sunday quite frequently on the scout site.

I agree.
The longer he goes without making a commitment, the better our chances.

Dotson to visit again this weekend???

Scout already provided a write-up of his first visit to SMU, notes that he went this past weekend to Pitinoland, but now shows Dotson visiting SMU 10/25/08 also in his profile above. If he left Louisville without committing and in fact does make a second trip to SMU this weekend I've got to like our chances!

that must be the visit with his parents.....I think that is a very good sign. Man, I hope Doherty pulls this one off......and Russell too.

Although I just looked and he lists high interest in Louisville and LSU and only med interest in SMU.

Seems to have worked well enough. He is coming back for a second visit in 3 weeks this weekend. Might I add this 2nd visit is on the heels of his visit to Louisville this past weekend. Seems to me thats a very good thing.
