with Martin and McKinney mioving on, we are dangerously thin at RB next year
Have to hope Butler can return full strength but can he stay healthy all year?
Who is even in the mix next year and are any quality recruits giving SMU a look?

I would bet Chris Frazier and the kid from Ennis are in the mix at RB.

SMU has offered Rowlett RB Dexter Imade. Frazier will play receiver and so will McDade.

Yes, we are desperate to put the RUN back into the R & S. The following are the rushing stats from the Houston game:
1. Net Yards Rushing 48
2. Attempts 23
3. Average 2.1
4. TDs 1
5. Yds. Gained 78
6. Yds. Lost 30
These stats continue to show our glaring need for a running game which includes running backs plus an O line that can open some holes.

For goodness sakes how many scholarships do we need to use on receivers? We'll have way over 10 at this rate for next year.

What about Nunn from Bellville? Is he interested? By the numbers, he looks like a fireplug with speed. We need to acouple of those types.

yea our lack of a running game really hurt us when there was 2:00 left and we couldn't pick up the 1st down. couldn't even get close enough on the 1st and 2nd down runs to run the ball again on 3rd down. we were forced to throw the ball, stop the clock and well, you know the rest.

I would bet they are both in the secondary.

You will see an improvement in our RBs as our OL matures and gets needed depth.

lets be honest, RB's typically don't want to play for an offense like JJ's where they are only used after the game is in hand.

I think Butler and B.J. Lee will be pretty decent.

I think had Butler not been hurt we would have won the last 2 games.

This is an important statement. At the end of the game, we couldn't run a dive to run clock becuase we have a 250 lb center. We have to run off guard, off tackle. Next year, kids grow up, get Enright back, and we will run the ball a little better regardless of who is in the backfield.

Enright is a senior.
