SMU is definitely looking at adding some JUCOs in the secondary. They recently offered Conroy Black-whose moved around from Miramar Florida to East LA which I believe is a CC and now is at Fullerton CC . Anyway he didn't qualify out of high school-originally signed with Montana St. SMU is the only team to offer and Oregon St is interested. Don't know too much about him-but he does have legitimate size and speed.

We definitely need depth at corner but please get us some d-line and linebacker help.

Indeed, who is going to play DT next year?

Looks like (just guessing here obviously) Marquez Frasier and Nathan Mageo start, while youngsters Huahulu, Dollens and Pittman work in the rotation. By 2010, we have a legit 2 deep at DT :)

I forgot about the trio from Texarkana. I guess we are still in the hunt?
The LB, Brown, is the one that really stands out to me.
Looks a little short and slow. Do not believe we have offered.

Yet I remain cautiously optimistic.

The defensive tackle Williams is to small for D1 line take 20lbs off and play him at middle lb.

I hear the coaches are actually very high on some of the young defensive linemen on the roster. I'd like to see some new linebackers, and more than anything, new safeties to play with Chris Banjo and Tyler Jones.

James Scott has the size and athleticism to immediately help our secondary next year. I'm really hoping Banjo and Scott can be two guys we can count on for years to come at Safety. This has been a major problem for years other than Sturdivant.

Black committed to Oregon State today. Mrydel didn't want him anyway.

I hope Mrydel and the committee will reconsider, because according to Rivals Conroy has!

the ad hoc committee has scheduled a special meeting to consider if we really even want him anyway.
