I predict we don't get them - As they each sit in the own section for that game and can talk to each other at normal volume levels during the 3rd quarter they'll be less than impressed.
I hope I'm wrong.

it is aproblem. Students will be gone too-Boulevard will suck. We needed some momentum this year to keep the recruits AND the FANS motivated too.

It really is unfortunate...these guys will think they are visiting a H.S. game. Let's hope Jones & Co can sell them on what this place can become...they are not likely to be impressed by what it currently is.

Actually the only two times i saw the stadium full when i went to SMU was when high school games were played at Ford. Therefore Junior High game would be a better comparison. But there is no Junior High stadium in the country you would be told to sit down! on a third down

And exactly HOW do comments like these help SMU athletics or the situation you are addressing? Other "fan boards" ban negative comments on their boards regardless of how close to the truth the comment may be.
If you really are wanting to help the situation, please bite your tongue befroe posting teh negative sides to SMU.
Thanks in advance.

This is a very good point. If nobody mentions it on the internet, the Recruits won't notice it when they get here.

I understand.
Well...at least the prospect will get here for a visit...and, according to our past and present coaches.... that is more than half the battle.
Once a recruit get to SMU's beautiful campus... we have a serious chance to sign the prospect to 'ship.
It is a domino affect.

CHILL OUT Cheerleader Bob. I don't want anybody at SMU that is blind. He is visiting the damn school during the Southern Miss game. I think the Cat will be out of the Hat.

I will repeat...the program IS what it IS...the key to future success is for JJ & Co to be able to convince these guys they can have an immediate impact on making the program what it can be.
We all want to see 30k in Ford regularly and cheering for dear old SMU as we compete for CUSA championships. Doesn't change the fact that we are not capable of showing that right now.
Like Stampede says...the key is getting them to visit. Anyone can look at our facilities and school and appreciate what we have to offer...not to mention the prospect of immediate playing time.
