From Long Beach Poly in CA. Visiting this weekend. Has offers from Nebraska, Idaho State, and SMU.
Long Beach Poly is one of the best HS programs in the country. They turn out between 4-6 1-A players a year.

n the recruiting trail, Middleton has one offer from SMU. He is getting serious recruiting attention from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, BYU, San Diego State, TCU, Utah State and UCLA.
Middleton is planning to visit Louisville on November 21st. He will also visit SMU, but he isn’t sure of the date at this time.
What is Middleton looking for in a college?

"I just got offered by Nebraska," Middleton said. "I'm really excited about that one, Nebraska is a big-time school with a great tradition. Nebraska has been recruiting me for a while and one of their coaches was at my practice a bit ago and picked up film.
"I got a call from an assistant saying after just a few plays, they knew I could play and decided to offer me right there. They wanted to trip me in for this weekend but we have a playoff game on Saturday so I'll be taking that visit the first weekend of January."
I love his quote about Nebraska. "I'm really excited about that one."
Just reading between the lines but does that mean he's not excited about his first offer from our boys?
Anyway, sounds like another kid who could step right in & contribute for us. I hope we address the D-line because u can have the best DB's in the world but as we all know, without a pass rush they are dead meat.

Let's hope he's serious about the academics  he sounds like he'd be a great addition.

Those don't threaten the academics-first angle.

UCLA does. If they offer, I bet he jumps at it.

so much for prestige of the school. Why dont they just be honest and say they want to go where the football program is big and have a shot at big money playing football instead of working for a living.
