Posted: Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:15 pmI've seen him play 3 times. He is the real freakin' deal. Strong, a little shifty, doesn't great break away speed but good. And he will take on a tackler for the tough yards. He's also well coached by his head coach Bryan Erwin, who was actually a grad assistant under Cavan.
Marcus probably relied on him too much this year because a couple of their WRs flaked out and their passing game collapsed.
The kid has rushed for nearly 3,400 yards in two years and about 40 TDs.
I would suspect the BCS schools will come after him. They may wince about the speed issue. But IMO, this would be a great get.
