I don't have a Rivals Sub (picked Scout over rivals, I think I chose poorly...sigh), but it looks like Antonio Parker, teammate of Rufus Porter, is on the radar for a visit from the Staff this weekend. Very cool, but he certainly seems like one who slipped through the cracks. Rivals has him as an unknown quantity (unrated) but they list offers from Ol' Miss and Boise State in addition to SMU.
Scout has him as a 2 star with no reported offers.

Maybe we'll get a 2 for 1 this weekend?

I hope Reinbold is recruiting the both of them. Porter is underrated as a prospect, (please don't retort about his size) he is a solid D1 prospect.

Another DB. Wow, we're really targeting the secondary.

I wonder why we are targeting the secondary since some thought they were the strength of the D?

You dont recruit for next yrs needs - you recruit for needs three yrs from now. Its not like very many of these recruits will see the field next year. Except for the DL's. And the LB's. And maybe a couple of receivers. And the punter. And a safety. And a couple OL. So except for those spots we are good.

Thank god we have a winner!!!!!!. I would suggest that all start thinking 2,3 and 4 years out with respect to FB and BB needs. That's why I think I have been negative when the consensus is sometimes positive and positive when the consensus is negative. BB is a great example-I see the BB team emerging over the long term while Captain Abandon the Ship is ready to bail. I saw storm clouds gathering over successive poor Phil Bennett recruiting classes when the team was talking about going bowling. That's why you can't tell if a Coach is going to be the answer in the first 3-4 years even if he has initial success-See Notre Dame' Charlie Weis.

Scout has a handy (though in need of updating) chart:

Unfortunately, just because you are the "strength" of what served as our defense last season, does not necessarily make you all that good.

I bet he goes to Ole Miss from what I have read. Has a 1.8 GPA. So might not qualify
