The earlier post that mentions Christian Morris, a physical 6'9 inside player considering us is very encouraging. I hope we get him.
I wanted to throw out of couple of other names of players that I think could really help the program. I have already watched many games in person this season & will attend many more. I'm only mentioning kids that I think can step in & play immediately.
Gilberto Clavell-Lopez- 6'6" 220. Collin County Community College, Plano, TX. Very physical (with an attitude) & an excellent rebounder. More polished than Otis on the O end. Same type of build as Otis. Has really improved his O game since last season. Avg 15 pts per game & 8 boards per game. Injured his shoulder a few games back but should be fine. Plays on the # 13 rank JC team in the country. IMO, he is better than University of Utah signee & teammate Matt Read.
As a side note, Utah signed Read (mentioned above, Glover from Cedar Hill & Henderson from L.D. Bell this year. Obviously, this sucks ! They are all right here under our nose. 3 local recruits to Utah!!
Another player @ Collin County JC that could step right in & impact the team is a 6'3" shooting guard named Adam Brown. Brown averages 18 pts per game & is shooting 48 % from the field which includes 48% from the 3 point mark. Also, he shoots 87% from the FT line. He is very smooth. Let's the game come to him & makes the game look easy.
Collin County is one of the best JC programs in the country & they play outstanding competition. Also, they are very well coached.

Last season after I saw Weatherford JC play in a game I posted how I though Doh should recruit Edvina Ruzgus @ Weatherford JC. This season, he's avg 10.8 pts per game this year @ TCU & hit a couple of big 3's against us.
I am lucky that I get to see many high school & college games in person. As I see players that could make an immediate impact I'll give u a heads up.
