Aggies Surrendering?

the A&M Rivals site Aggie Yell has come out with its Top 125. Funny as hell because all 19 UT commitments are ranked in Top 59 in the State. I guess Aggies have given up on their annual nauseating bitchin' about how the recruiting services overrate UT recruits and downgrade A&M recruits. Everybody now seems to be in agreement that the Aggies are getting routed. The White Flag of Surrender is being waived. Maybe the moderater isn't a big fan of the Aggie Coaching Staff and their recruiting performance. Funny as Hell.

BTW this new list can now be accessed on the Composite Texas Top 100 thread. Plus now all of the various lists have direct links at the top.

It's just ridiculous that Texas is already at 19 commitment. Man, they have a proven system that works.

If SMU was in the Big XII I think they could consistently out-recruit A&M as well.

Top notch academic reputation in a superior city.

We would be like Iowa State in the big 12. But worse...

Dallas is a far more desirable city to Stillwater, Ames, Manhattan, Waco, College Station, Columbia, Lubbock, Lincoln, Lawrence or Norman...(I am talking FB)

OU and Texas have tradition…understood.

Below those 2 schools SMU could compete against anybody in the Big 12.

Think Miami.

I think you are forgetting about 5 National Championships and an 80,000 seat stadium in Lincoln as well......

Dallas is, of course, a more desirable location, but Boulder beats Dallas on location by a long shot too. And Dallas isn't Miami either. (Granted, I would rather live in Dallas than Miami, but to a high school kid......no contest.)

But I agree with your overall point. You would think we ought to have an advantage over Stillwater, Lubbock, etc.

True. Who likes natural beauty, a laidback lifestyle, a beautiful campus, a very cool stadium.
