Another 4 Star Player Puts SMU In His Top Four

Within the last two weeks, SMU has extended an offer to this four-star talent. Suddenly, the Rivals250 member has narrowed down his offers to only four and the Mustangs have made the cut!

The encouraging aspect of us going after these kind of kids is that we're actually making some traction after a one win season. Imagine where we will be in recruiting once we start winning some games and creating some positive buzz around high schools in the area. Seriously we ought to be able to be the dominant recruiting school of the non BCS schools. Absolutely no reason why that can't happen.

Hopefully, the fact that Spurgeon's sister is a thrower on our track team helps - sounds like they're a pretty tight family.
