Ja'Gared Davis at Texas Relays-i think

I'm not really sure if this is a preliminary or finals in the 110 Meter Hurdles but it mentions Davis from Crockett with an announced time of 14.20 but before the end of the race. I guess the announcer might be referring to the best preliminary time or the best pre-meet qualifying time. Davis could be the bigger guy in the lead who appears to get nosed out at the end. BTW I couldn't find Aron Franklin at the Texas Relays but Friday I think he won two events at a local meet (the Long Jump -21 Feet-and his specialty the 110 Meters where he ran a 14.08-better than Davis' announced time. Remember Franklin was involved in a BB Playoff run so maybe he didn't have a qualifying time yet.

It looks like Davis scratched in the Finals-but also note that Franklin's time would have easily won the whole shebang by about 3/4 of a second. Also Davis' "announced" qualifying time would have beat all times in the Finals.

here's confirmation of Franklin's 14.08-note if it wasn't wind-aided and official it would have tied the Texas Relays meet record set in 2001. I still can't believe the entire State of Texas wasn't all over Franklin-he's my kind of sleeper. Both Davis and Franklin are going to add some athleticism to the defense.
