Just thought the keeper of the star would like to know that since he took a lot of cheap shots at him. The program would not have come back on him if they thought he couldn't play.

BTW, Rivals did give him 3 stars. According to the keeper, that really was an irrelevant point about this particular recruit's ability.

I didn't take any cheap shots-nobody wanted him-read the story-Vanderbilt had a scholarship open up so after pondering walkingon at several schools he got lucky. He ain't no 3 star if he had to wait until April 15th to find a school any school to take him. He never should have been rated 3 stars in the first place based upon the FACT that every coach in Division 1A passed on him. He's kinda of like the guy that gets a prize for being the last pick in the NFL Draft.

Did he sign with Vanderbilt? So I guess they wanted him. Doesn't matter if it was Feb. 4 or April 14. Better to be lucky than good. And I guess he made an impression with the staff if all paths led back to him, didn't they?

You probably need to get with your Rivals boys and get them straightened out on their star rating system.
