Mark McLaughlin, a 6-foot-5, 197-pound shooting guard from Kenmore, Wash. who was recently released from his letter-of-intent by Nevada, signed with Baylor.

McLaughlin, who originally signed with Nevada in November 2007, asked out of his commitment after Mark Fox took the Georgia coaching position.

McLaughlin verbally committed to Washington State in July 2007 before reneging later that month. He signed with Nevada four months later, but didn't play for the Wolf Pack last season because the NCAA Clearinghouse had not ruled on his academic case before the season began (he was eventually cleared).

Why is Drew signing someone from outside of Texas? Doesn't he know better? Stallion and others will have his head.

Why would Drew go all the way to Washington to get this guy when there are comparable players within the state of Texas?

I know you guys are being sacrastic but Drew has absolutely killed us in recruiting DFW and Texas. 9 of his 14 players on last year's teams were from TX and two of his best - Rogers and Acy from DFW
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
