SMU looking at 2011 QB

Postby SMU 86 » Wed Sep 02, 2009 6:50 pm

Arkansas Top Gun QB award winner for accuracy Kiehl Frazier. He and 2011 DT Sam Harvill are on the same team. Nice read.

I like that 64% completion ratio.

Arkansas does not have anything near the quantity of athletes that does Texas, or even the DFW area, but they do have some high quality athletes every year. It may not have enough athletes to warrant extensive recruiting but I hope they keep their eyes on some of the kids like this one and keep some inroads to the State.

Back in the early '80's, some of our best players came from Arkansas. Then we just quit recruiting up here after Coach Meyer for whatever reason.

He would be a good start to the 2011 class for sure.

We found Donte Womack in Arkansas. Who are the greatest SMU recruits from Arkansas. Probably All-American John Simmons, Doug Rice and some guy named Clement Fox.

Clement was not an Arkansas boy. He just found heaven on earth at a later time. You did leave me out however.

They both looked really good. The QB though was definitely the more impressive of the two. Scout has a good write up of the game. The QB put up some crazy numbers and would fit in nice on the Hilltop.
