I guess Coach Reinebold was right today when he said that recruiting is full swing. (sub)

YES! I was starting to get afraid that we wouldn't have enough WRs in this draft class. What a relief!

Wonder how this affects our recruitment of Pat Faulk, the kid from Kerens with an offer from Nebraska. I think he has us listed as his favorite but we are getting loaded down with skill guys right now.

Good question, it doesn't. Faulk is still being recruited as a RB and yes we would still take him.

From DeBartolo Sports:
Keenan Holman (Beaumont, TX – Central HS) – Holman is a rising senior who has the whole package as a wide receiver – good size, good speed, good hands. He won’t blow you away, but he’s the type of guy who just makes plays.

Signing another recruit is always good news, but is anyone else worried about the lack of big men? I know we picked up a lot of good offensive linemen last year, but we don't have much defensive line depth. Where are all of these receiver commits going to play? Our system is isn't a revolving door with new WRs on the field every play. We have 4 guys with situational subs(ex Haynes) and thats about it from what I've seen. Having great depth at any position is never a bad thing, but I feel bad for some of these receivers coming in who may never get their shot.

Some of those WR's will fall off..they will committ and when they see all the competition they will look elsewhere..

Considering how our WR's looked against SFA we need every one of them with ES graduating.

Seems he's also a basketball player. Listed at 6-1, 170. Neither service reports a 40 time or any other offers.

OK, but HOW fast? I assume if we were talking Aldrick Robinson-fast, this board would have exploded, so that's not what I expect. But does anyone think he's a legit 4.5? At 6-1, that's pretty solid.
