I am looking forward to next year. Every year I swear the program can do nothing but improve. For about the 4th year in a row we've hit a new all-time low point.

I hope we do not lose any WR's. To many drops by our current crew.

We didn't lose anyone. It was one game... and we won.
Saw Chris Parks there. Good size for a CB.

Come on man, if you're getting recruited, and you show up to see SMU squeak by in a very ugly way, hardly outscoring a mid-level DI-AA team even with 5 INTs, you are probably going to be very, very concerned about going to SMU. Put down the koolaide!

went up and said hi to parks and o'guin. they stuck around until the team was in the locker room. parks has a good frame for a d-1 DB. o'guin was a little shorter then i had pictured

lol, we've been this bad forever. They know the deal. I'm pretty sure our recruits weren't expecting USC to trot out.

It all comes down to who else is offering you.
We have few guys getting B12 offers. So I bet we lose few recruits because they know we are terrible, don't draw a crowd, have a huge amount of work to get to simply decent, all the NFL coaches in the world - apparently - can't coach up the talent currently residing on the Hilltop.
They are coming to SMU probably because either:
1. There other offers are inferior or non existent.
2. Educational opportunity is better
3. There is hope for a turnaround under JJ and his staff
4. Can play near friends and family.
The fact that we stunk on Saturday was undoubtedly a disappointment but probably didn't deter them from still coming.
