Kaiser has led his team to a pair of 38-0 victories. However he is only 12 for 28 with 4 TDs. no Interceptions for 280 yards. Hit only 47% of his passes last year. Like to see him improve his accuracy. Doesn't include tonites game

Stats from Stephen Kaiser's latest game.

THE GOOD: 3 TDs 0 Ints 15.9% per catch
THE BAD: For some reason Desmet consistently has poor accuracy in the passing game-I don't know Desmet could have lousy receivers. But 9 completions on 22 attempts makes Kaiser 21-50 (42%) for the year.

ESPN has Kaiser as the #17 QB in the class. Not Bad!

Desmet beat the team thought to be its toughest remaining threat in District 43-0, No mention of Kaiser though in this story)no boxscore). DeSmet has an outstanding Sophomore receiver Durron Neal who scored 4 TDs but not one was on a pass-looks like 2 Punt Returns, Direct snap from Center and a Reverse all for TDs.

UPDATE: Kaiser did have a 12 yard TD pass

Kaiser's passing stats are now availiable. He was 8-16 for 83 yards and 1 TD 0 Ints. For the year he is now 29-66 8 TDs and 0 Ints for a completion percentage of a tad under 44%

Desmet rolled last nite 58-39 but it appears they relied on the running game as RB David Hill ran for 6 TDs, No mention of Kaiser's performance. He was not involved in any of the TDs scored as Desmet scored 8 running TDs. No boxscore-sometimes they publish it later in the week.

So there's not a three star QB in all of Texas who comes from a pass oriented offense and completes more than 44% of his passes that wants to come play for JJ at SMU? WTF?

I'm sorry I don't get this recruit....he is slow and doesn't get good QB ratings and his completion % is low AND is seems that his team doesn't throw much...what do they see in this guy? I would rather get another big DL recruit....

Well I looked at his game film and I guess his fundamentals look good and feetwork look better than I thought so he's a better work in progress than I thought...

Boxscore for Kaiser from previous game. Best percentage completion game of the year. He was 7-12 for 94 yards and one Int. Under passing stats it said he had a TD but it doesn't show up in scoring summary so I'm not sure

For the season he is 36 for 78(46.15%) for 610 yards with 8(maybe 9 TDs) and 1 Int.

Are his fundamentals just great? I don't understand either why a guy with supposed excellent potential isn't throwing the ball at all on the high school level

Show up to the lunch next Monday and you guys can ask JJ all the questions you want....game decisions, program direction, recruiting, current players.

Those lunches are really good. While I know JJ can't talk about specific recruits, he gives a more detailed idea of what is going on with the program and it is really encouraging. I have hear through the grapevine though that Kaiser's wr's are really young and that is why the percentages are so low.
