Kiehl Frazier

Frazier, Arkansas Shiloh Christian, rumored to be on JJ's wish list, having offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Tulsa, et al, had a mediocre game last night. 8 for 8, 3 tds, no ints, and 145 yards. Of course, some of the mediocrity may be due to the fact the first team was pulled after the 1st quarter. Shiloh was up 27-0 and was criticized last year for scoring too much against their public school opponents so they took the opportunity to rest their first team. At 6'3" 212, I would not mind having him for a shot at QB.

Updating this 2011 prospect, last night he was 10-12 for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. This game he was allowed to play the first half and after building a 37-6 lead, sat for the the remainder of the game.

I just trust that JJ is keeping up with him. This is the type of recruit on which we need to focus. Many good offers.

I like that the focus is on winning players from successful HS programs..they are NOT used to losing and they bring that mind set.....thx for the follow up

Average numbers for Frazier last night. 11 for 18, 297 yards, and 5 touchdowns. This time they did not pull him from the game until after his 5th touchdown pass. That came with 5:44 remaining in the first half.

This is the type of player that JJ should be loading up on. Now if we could just get some OLs and DLs of the same caliber we might really start making progress. :)

GO PONIES!!!

If that means you are looking for the article, it is on the scout pay forum. Scroll down the threads to "coachs hit the recuiting trail tonight/tomorrow" thread. You will find it several posts down.

Only available stat on Frazier last night is 242 yards in the first half. He sat down in the 2nd quarter after reaching a 42-0 lead against their closest rival.

24-38 for 407 yards and 4 tds in a 38-0 win. No mention of how long he played but usually just the first half.

I still think we have a chance for this kid. Arkansas is not going to offer any QBS this year and they plan on taking 2 next year. They have offered Frazier and Brandon Allen who is the son of an Arkansas coach and the top rated QB in the state. Frazier likes us and perhaps, just perhaps he would not relish coming into a class with a coach's son. I think he would fit Jones' system very well.

Is he a junior or a senior?
