Safety Tarence Farmer who had offers from Alabama, UH, Kansas, Nebraska, OSU, Tennessee, UTEP out of high school.
Also they've added Colorado Transfer WR Chance Blackmon from Tatum who had offers from Colorado, Colorado St., Houston, Kansas State and Missouri
Houston is really building a quality pipeline to Houston area players.

Won't take issue with your assessment of UH's pipeline to Houston area, but I infer from what you did not include that you assume Tatum is in the Houston area?
Um...negative. Real confident about this. It's up here in SW Harrison County, East Texas.
I know their Associate High School principal, Bob Garcia. His parents live two doors down, and I have "morning coffee" with his dad about 3 times a week.

Wasn't Blackmon at UH over the summer after leaving the Buffs during the middle of spring drills?
Farmer left Alabama prior to the 2008 season after RS his freshman year.

apparently Farmer just showed up on their roster today-another UH fan also mentioned Blackmon which I hadn't heard-I don't think. Didn't really know about Tatum but Farmer is from Houston-later added the Blackmon transfer to the post. They have about 11-12 prospects from Houston

Sumlin was a great hire for Houston. Glad to see one of our conference mates bringing in quality players. Now if only we could get into that mix.
