Memphis has now just landed the #59 player in the country, IN ADDITION to all the others.

http://memphisroar.com/2009/11/memphis-p...#more-3953

"Josh Pastner’s first recruiting class as a head coach is now the hands-down number one recruiting class in the country. Not only is this the best class in the nation for 2010, but it is one of the best classes assembled in the history of college basketball. No other team can lay claim to six 90-or-better rated prospects by Scouts, Inc."

Granted, this quote came from a homer online-magazine, memphisroar.com, but statisically I believe that this is correct. (Anyone wanna look it up, feel free.) If this guy is at all a floor coach than you can forget C-USA, they are now a potential national championship team next year.

THIS IS HIS FIRST YEAR, AND HE IS 32.

Memphis has officially hit the jackpot on coaches.

Not next year, but in the next 2-3 season Memphis will be back in the Final Four picture. Pastner is definitely considered to be a good floor coach, when he was a player at Arizona he was practically an assistant coach. Every place he has been, his co-workers rave about his work ethic and knowledge of the game. His recruiting success already speaks volumes about his personality and charisma. Everyone who knows Josh expects him to be a success. It was a little bit of a surprise that his first head coaching job was at a top-10 program, but he's going to have Memphis back on top sooner than anyone else would have.
