Arps & Mundine from Denison would be nice.
Both 3 stars & committed to KU. Both considered us.

We've got to convince this kid to stay home. He's a perfect fit at the nose in our 3-4

Marshall High plays Denison at the same time SMU plays Tulane...I'm gonna be in Section 105 at SMU, but I'll ask a buddy to watch the DTs as he is going to the high school game. He's pretty on top of high school football talent. It'll be interesting to watch real DTs work over Marshall's O-line. They don't know what it's like to be manhandled. Their losses were b/c of coaching, and in one case, weather (driving rainstorm mudbowl).

I doubt Mangino survives this mess. Verbal abuse and facemask yanking is tougher to overlook when your losing.

Never understood why it is inappropriate to push around and facemask yank football players when they play a game based on smashing into each other as hard as possible.

I don't think it'll help you motivate the players, but you should get fired for your losing record and the team quitting, not because you knocked one upside the head.

Don't have a problem with the pushing around and facemask yanking at all...but when a coach tells a player to play better or go back to St. Louis to get shot like his homies - a few weeks after the player's brother (or was it cousin) got shot - it's time for the school to sever ties with the coach.
