John Bordano featured in Front Page article about New Braunfels defense (Austin Statesman). Great read, mentions SMU-bound. He's got the "fire"! 178 tackles this year, about 13/game. Sorry don't know how to post web address.

Bordano has a lot to live up to. His uncle was one of the best players to come through SMU since the DP. Sounds like he has the mental toughness part down. If he has anywhere near the ability that Chris Bordano had, he should be a big-time contributor for us. Looking forward to seeing another Bordano on the Hilltop!

Sounds like a take-charge kind of guy. Could grow to be a leader on our team for the next few years.
