He refers to Miami as "Linebacker U". Isn't that Penn State?

Back in the day yes, I think more recently it is Miami with Ray Lewis, Johnathan Vilma, etc

"Linebacker U" always changes. Nowadays I'd say it's USC with Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews III, Rey Maualuga and Kaluka Maiava all doing well in the NFL.

Not after they graduated most of their linebackers. Their D fell apart against Stanford and Arizona near the end of the year.

Yes whatever happened to the "Wrecking Crew"?

Linebacker U hasn't been in College Station (A&M) or State College (State Penn) in decades. The only people who think those places have a claim to the place are people who went to those schools ... and they're as irrelevant as their alma maters.

Linebacker U is now USC.

We have some good company on those two recruits.

LB is one position it seems we will be set for at least a few years. It would be nice to see a few DL early commits as we still seem thin there.

If we could get 1 DT as good as Mike O'Guin every year I'd be happy. I'm really just basing that off his Junior Year highlites since he dropped off the radar in 2A at Van Vleck-but its a damn impressive video. Hopefully, he's even better now but he has the talents we have rarely recruited in the DLine in 20 years-so be happy with what you got first. I may be fooled by a 3 minute video but I like what I see and I think he will be better if he controls his weight and can get down to about 300.
