DT Vaatausili ("Vaa") Mataia from Santa Anna CC earned Defensive MVP honors at the recent JUCO All-American game- "his tremendous motor put him in position to capitalize on the mistakes made by Team USA's offense. He had several sacks and either caused or recovered several fumbles. He is a prospect that MWC and WAC schools should be taking a closer look at.". Reportedly 6-4, 290 (I also saw 6-2, 280) and isn't getting a lot of looks based on this report. Probably is now.
