All the Big Plays repeated over and over on ESPN are going to open some eyes. Momentum was already on our side but this made a statement

I think last night's game will be huge for RB recruiting. A lot of people think RBs are an afterthought in Jones' offense. McNeal proves that Jones will feature the RB in multiple roles if he has the right guy.

spent Christmas yesterday with my parents and even though Dad isn't a big SMU fan (despite having sent 3 of his 5 boys there), his comment after watching the 1st half of our game was that the team's performance was worth "millions" in recruiting. Have to agree. I think if this season put SMU on the radar, that game put SMU back on the map!
When I think of all the FR & SO players who played such a huge role in this season and that game, I can't help but get excited about what this team might become 2 years from now.

While I am not neutral on the subject, I thought SMU was as well prepared as I have seen a bowl team in years. Congradulations for your performance, on and off the field, you did us all proud!

I think it will hep us with QBs in a big way. Guys like Jessie Scroggins can go and never play at USC or come to SMU and throw the ball close to 40 times a game as a true freshmen

Probably the second best prepared bowl team I've EVER seen (after Chris Peterson of Boise State's 2007 Fiesta Bowl win over Oklahoma).

It should help with wide receivers too.

The real question: who WON'T it help with? NOBODY. Well....except maybe punters.

Mat McBriar has had a good NFL career so far with the Cowboys, so JJ can point to putting a punter in the NFL.
