Do we really want to go after someone, even a big guy, who is committed to the worst team in football?

Armen has some good premium info on him at smu.rivals.com. Also, where did you get that Rivals said that he was visiting this weekend (I don't see that)?

Join Rivals if you can....they are really on top of things......especially during these periods right before signing days....Scout has got scoops as well.

If he had an offer from Stanford — an excellent academic institution with a solid football program — that suggests he has some real upside. Plus, if you google pictures of the kid, he looks downright skinny. If that 260 is accurate, it looks like he could get over 300 pretty easily. Might turn into a beast.

we're only pursuing him to try to even out our recruiting battle with Stanford lol.
Though hey, I'll take all the 6'7 OLM that we can take.

I'm not sure it would be a bad thing to get into recruiting battles with Stanford. They recruit great students, and in recent years have collected some damn good players, too.

Yeah, I seem to recall hearing something about them having a pretty decent running back over there.

last time I looked Stanford had scatter bombed about 250 offers-probably higher now-but we know Stanford offers are a two step process. I like the guy for other reasons as a greyshirt but those Stanford offers are like academy offers-everyone gets one.

Fits in with being the school where Tiger Woods learned how to date.

They also say they have a freshman qb that can play a bit.
