see ya dude. IMO, a player that was on the roster last year who redshirted is much more capable than this guy. I'm excited to see the RS freshman step up.

This kid seemed kinda wishy washy anyway.....doubt the coaches were that surprised. Be more changes before signing date and bet we get better than worse on commits...when you go after higher ranked players there is always going to be some heavy competition for the final ink...

I just hate that the WDNWHA Committee has to work on Sundays this time of year, but it comes with the territory.

Jake Farley was the decommit, he committed to Kansas. No big loss, he projects to play OLB there.

if it is Farley, then I'd say that he looked at what's on SMU's roster and the recruits coming in and he realized that he was a step slower. When Farley's recruiting notice came on the board I didn't think he had the same measurable as the Texas recruits already committed to SMU. JJ has a lot of speed coming in, and a couple listed as athletes, positions to be determined. Next fall, JJ will have 3 recruiting classes on the field competing for PT and JJ is playing a lot of his recruits. I read 45 of the 66 players traveling to Tulsa were freshmen or sophomores, a great incentive for a HS recruit to join the Mustangs.

As has been mentioned before, the recruiting process in an on-going process of evaluation and reevaluation based on what is and may be available. It does not appear that the recent commitments to Princeton as well as the decommittment are anything we should be concerned with. JJ is constantly reloading. It should be an interesting journey to Feb. 3.

The WDNWHA Committee better be on its toes, things are moving fast.

I'd say it's safe to assume Chris Banjo remains the starter at free safety, but who is in the lead at strong safety? Jay Scott?
