I'm definitely excited about the recruits we have in this class. Feels like we're continuing the trend and moving up one rung on the recruit quality ladder.

That being said, anyone else worried that we are only taking 3 linemen in this entire class? If you're going to recruit 4 deep you would hope to bring in at least 5 more linemen, right?

I agree, but I also feel ok about who we have coming back ... and so must the coaches! I do think the battle in the trenches is the most important, and if you loose that, then chances are you loose the game. But I trust in this staff to evaluate what we have and what we need!

Go Stangs!

Agreed. All our starting offensive linemen, except for our center, are returning this year and they will all be juniors. McJunkin has also started sporadically, filling in for Enright when he got injured, and he also has experience at Guard. I'm sure that losing Fontana didn't help, but we've got a couple other big guys that have played some on special teams, etc. that are only freshmen. So all in, would have loved to have seen a couple more O-line guys, but I think we should be in relatively good shape.

D-line is a slightly different story. Rather than rehash what everyone else has been saying over the last month, I'll paraphrase them by saying that every school wishes they had more depth at D-line, so we are no exception.

Yes, but we also had unexpected losses at D Line.
