2008 = 4 3-stars (3 on team)
2009 = 8 3or4-stars (5 on team)
2010 = 16 3-stars

Much improved chances of success (unless these are reaches)

Why and how is temple ranked above us?

Bigger question is how are Wisconsin and Boise below us?

Boise only lost 1 starter from last year, that's why they'd be below us. It would be much tougher to recruit when you can't offer early playing time or recruits don't see the promise of opportunities. The other issue is that Boise does a lot with what they get, and the system and scheme and coaching grooms success at Boise, not necessarily high level recruits. Plus it's Boise, much tougher to attract quality recruits up there than to Dallas.

Last time I looked Boise had only committed 8 recruits and was just about done. Again in some small or big Classes total points are deceptive and average per recruit is the better barometer.

There aren't many good Football players in Wisconsin-PERIOD. The General can anayze their class-I couldn't name a single player

Really, the recruiting under Bret Bielema has been very average over the last couple of years. They have finished in the middle to the lower half. The Badgers were one of three Big Ten teams that didn't get a 4-star player and they finished 10th in the conference in recruiting ranking.

Their class really stayed in the midwest and they plucked one or two from Florida. They have a good OL in Beau Allen (think that's his name) from Minnesota.

And yet this team won 10 games last year. Every time I look at the Badgers, I just don't think there's a lot there but they just know how to win games on Saturdays.

As for the Big Ten, it was a really dud recruiting year. Penn State was the best at 12th. Michigan was in the teens and Ohio State was in the mid-20s (shocking). And I was pretty much indifferent toward the Gophers' class with only 2 4-star kids and sitting around 50. That was not why Brewster was hired. He was hired because he had a great recruiting background.

I don't know what that means in future years but I wouldn't say this conference used the momentum from the bowl season to help itself.
