probably the greatest one day hauls in history and definitely on signing date-2 Five Stars and 6 Four Stars all committing on 2/3-although 2 are not shown as signing yet. Came back to nudge Texas for 2nd overal with an incredible average of 4.21 per recruit

USC needs to have a few "nice days" because after the NCAA lowers the hammer on them, "nice days" will be few and far between.

So are you saying USC had a good day with all the 4 and 5 star recruits but SMU's class is overrated?

How in the heck did you get that idea from my post? And btw I've said I thought SMU Class was underrated. Its rated about 75th and 6th-7th in CUSA but I think it should be about 68th and 3rd-4th in CUSA. Now I did say that all Texas and CUSA classes are based on an Inflated Scale which is as clear as the nose on your face-but that applies to everybody. Go back and compare CUSA Team Ratings in Past Years-the rating scale is inflated.

Ha! USC takes the lead in Rivals team rankings coming from about 8th place before signing date. Not sure if Florida or UT will ask for recount due to a "hanging" Chad

Top U.S.C. Recruit Is Not Signed Yet
By THAYER EVANS
Seantrel Henderson, the highly recruited offensive lineman who announced Wednesday that he was going to Southern California, has not signed a letter of intent to play for the Trojans.

According to Henderson’s father, Sean, he will wait until U.S.C. appears before an N.C.A.A. infractions committee from Feb. 19-21 to hear about possible sanctions for the program before deciding whether to sign the letter. Though the Trojans are not likely to hear about any possible sanctions at that time, Sean Henderson said the hearing would give the family a sense of where the process was headed.

Henderson has until April 1 to sign a letter of intent. After that, Seantrel Henderson could find himself in a situation similar to Terrelle Pryor in 2008. Sean Henderson declined further comment.

He doesn't even need to sign April 1- I think a few schools might just hold a scholarship for him until Agust. Let the street agents come forth.

Once Ed "Be Be" Orgeron is done setting him up with a "job" and Snoop Dog signs the dad to a hip hop recording contract, he'll be a Trojan.

You know-can you really blame the kid? Probably wants to go to USC but why should be gamble on this situation when it could really come back and bite him in the butt. I bet USC is glad that he did this at the last minute because it makes total sense and several might have done the same thing.

Can't blame him, but I don't know why it's just dawning on him now. I guess I should be glad he wasn't part of Florida's or Alabama's class.
