Obvious focus on UT here, but it does give an overview of the "lack" of talent this year in Texas compared to other years. How this effects us is TBD...
"There are some good players, but I think it's a real down year overall for the state," Lemming said. "I didn't see any great defensive linemen or cornerbacks or quarterbacks when I was down there. I'm going to be curious to see who Texas actually does offer, because they're not going to have as great of a class if they stay in-state."

This may be one reason why UT is apparently going to offer 2 players from Georgia this early. If UT increases their out of state recruiting and decreases their DFW emphasis, the trickle down effect would benefit SMU and TCU.

the 2011 class in Louisiana is supposed to be a really really good one. I think the coaches have been making a lot of inroads in that state and I wouldnt be surprised to see us have 5 or 6 players from Louisiana next year.

What does Lemming know about Texas recruiting. ZERO. If its true he heard it from someone else.

Could it be that it is a down year for 4 and 5 star prospects, but still a standout year for 3 stars, which is what we target anyway?

Shouldn't you be at the Tea Bag Convention this weekend with all the rest of the birthers, book burners, trilaterialist, the (name your state) secessionists, and "intelligent" design wing-nuts discussing how the world is 6,000 years old. I was hoping to hear your review of the Jesus and the Dinosauers exhibit

Wow Stallion. You used a whole week of Democrat talking point flyers in one post. Save some for later.

Stallion, "...but you guys knew that already because I noticed the trend 5 months ago before anyone else."
Did you really write this? or your worst enemy?
You know with insights such as this we should all be calling you Mr. Wonderful! I bet you also disovered the wheel, fire and at your age, probably dirt.
Reminds me of a nursury rhyme, Little Jack Horner, sitting in a corner, "what a good boy am I!"

Just calling out stupid-so some of you actually realize you are wackos. You cite a cold front in February-I cite NASA.

Everyone knows Stallion's always right. All the recruiting experts, most of the people on this site, pretty much anyone who's in the know, all the economists, anyone who is anyone knows that. How dare anyone suggest otherwise.
Yes we can.

He was not saying there is no such thing as climate change, he was making an analogy. The analogy holds whether you and Al Gore are 100% right or 100% wrong. I love all the information you share on the board, but you really do come across as a self-centered baby spoiling for a fight sometimes.
