Looks like we got our first guy - always nice to add some size to the O-line. No other offers listed and don't know a whole lot about him. Maybe someone else can weigh in on how good this pick up is?

6-5, 290lbs. Gotta like that if the listing is legit. Only a Junior, right now, as well. Another year he will be that much stronger and prepared for next level. Welcome to SMU Mr. Weeks.

We are on our way!

Only a 5.5 40 but of course an OL does not have to run very far. The question is does he have quick feet and potential to be a good pass blocker. We will have to trust the coaches on this.

This guy is raw size/talent and needs a lot of work. A project.

I heard Ole Miss was going to offer...not sure he is as raw as you think...

The player in question is Sachse offensive tackle Kristian Weeks. There are reports of him in the 6-5, 290 range ... I was told (not by him) today that he is now over 6-6 with shoes on, weighs over 320 and is one of the top power lifters in the state. Supposedly one Big 12 school was getting set to offer until he cancelled his Junior Day visit. Details to come.
