I love the ponies. I have a scout and a rivals account. Its not like SMU is USC or Alabama with regards to fans. I think it is great that SMU actually has a website where fans talk about SMU. It is just lame that the recruiting section of this board had become a [deleted] contest between those who pay $10 a month for a premium account to a recruiting site and those who dont.
Lets celebrate athletes who commit to SMU and talk about them, lets not [deleted] and moan over who pays $10 a month and who does not. I'm sick of clicking on a post about a recruit and reading 3 pages of crap about who is paying 25 cents a day and who is not. I'm from out of state and like to to hear the insights about these players. If you all want to debate about the pros and cons of pays a f-ing quarter a day for recruiting info, then start your post about that.

We were just talking about this on the Super-Secret rival's member's only board! Lots of good information over there!

I think Josh at the super secret Scouts site is doing a great job, but you need a security clearance.

What prompted this post? Did you post it back before signing day when we had all the posts like the one you describe and it somehow got hung up in the system and just got posted to the board? I have not seen a post arguing about this stuff in ages.

It was an honest question. I have not seen a post that matched his description of "3 pages of crap" about pay sites vs free sites in weeks, so I thought it was an odd time to [deleted] about it. Or perhaps I missed a huge thread recently.

yeah, telling people to stop [deleted] and moaning and acting like children is totally the same as [deleted] and moaning. Tool. It's like the "I have some Ice Cream" bit from Eddie Murphy's raw on this site
