NCAA Proposes the "Stop UT Recruiting Machine Rule"
Posted: Fri Jun 25, 2010 2:29 pmI kinda of support it in concept especially with regard to offers prior to the end of a recruits junior football season-but not sure its at all good for any Texas schools which I think have done better in recent years getting an early jump on out of state invaders. But Texas might actually have to wait 5 months now to essentially complete their class-and they will lose the herd mentality concept they have created with their two early camps in February.
Don't think we want every school in the Country to have 5 months after football season to evaluate and develop relationships with Texas athletes
Coaches might actually have time to take a well deserved vacation or reintroduce themselves to their families now after signing date
