Posted: Fri Aug 13, 2010 7:55 amActually, it's interesting that that chart seems to imply that recruiting only matters to the top 10 or so teams. After that there's no clear pattern evident.
Though it's certainly not statistically significant, the top half of the non-top-10 teams on that list won a total of 9 conference championships and the bottom half won 13. Maybe good recruiting hurts.
