I had to read a recruit quote about how the smu fans weren't into the game vs Tulsa.

Put them in the student section?
EDIT: The scenery should distract them

That (fall break ... no students on campus) is exactly what he was told.

With 100 students in the stands and we almost got 20 thousand. Not bad.

Still did not set well with him.

We do need to be a bit more lively at times. I think we'll be okay though.

Isn't there some way, for once, we could NOT schedule Fall Break on the same weekend as a home football game??

Very difficult. OOC schedules made years in advance. Fall Break falls during conference schedule. CUSA makes that schedule. We already request Texas/OU off every single year. That'd be asking CUSA to make a special schedule for 1/2 of our yearly away games. Ain't gonna happen. Academic calendar is released long, long before CUSA's yearly schedule is.

We just probably don't need to invite major recruits to that game IMO.

if a kid is coming all the way from New Zealand, his schedule may have more to do with when he can come than ours.
