The WDNWHA Committee had a special Columbus Day session to make our decision on Mr. Burks.

with reduced scholarship numbers everyone will have a great chance to play at USC. SMU went through this kind of penalty BEFORE the DP and it will eat away at USC's depth. Same thing happened at OU. The NCAA probation was a substantial hit despite what some may say. That penalty will affect USC for 4-5 years

Really shows the trouble USC is having recruiting. This is not the type of player they would have offered one or two years ago and they went from not offering him, to offering him only if he could graduate early to offering him.
