Question remains; what is his status?????

I dont know how we keep everyone else away...but if somehow we can and he has the grades..we know who will replace Fleps next year, assuming he was in juco last year and gets his AA. That's what would need to happen, right?

this is his second JUCO year but he is no longer at TVCC. He was a nonqualifier out of high school so he will have to get his AA degree which usually (but not always) means they would miss spring practice. JUCO signing date only about 5 weeks away.

yeah I gathered from the video he's in fabulous Thatcher, AZ playing for the Gila Monsters

Putting a new "recruiting" video out there would seem to indicate that he is not currently committed to us or anyone else.

Does anyone know his status?

wow, he's a terror out there. Looks like he's trying to put a whooping on someone every single play. I won't keep my fingers crossed, but he looks like a player from that tape. Aggressive with a great motor. Hopefully he'll end up committing to us again

Hopefully June and his staff have done a good job with keeping up with Beck. It would be nice to go full circle with him and bring him to SMU to finish out his college football career.

Looks like he can run and hit but I think he needs to work on wrapping the guy up and making a good open field take down. That can be coached !

I wonder if there is a SMU imposed gag order to the recruiting services about Coulter. I've asked Rivals at least twice for an update and I think Stallion and others have as well and there has been nothing but radio silence. My suspicion is raised because they are usually good about at least saying they don't know, when they indeed don't know anything.
