In the highlight reel he lined up at TE, used exclusively as a blocker.

front page of rivals says he's an OL.

Considering we barely use anything that even remotely resembles a tight end, I would assume he projects as an offensive lineman. Sounds like he's growing quickly, too. One report says he's around 275 already?

We used Patrick Fleming as a blocking Receiver a bunch-isn't too much a streatch to go with a TE in running situations. I think Hawaii did this some. This guy could be useful at Deep Snapper or TE or OLM-or all three. I think sometimes you need to you need that extra blocker. He actually looks like a very nice textbook blocker in his video and he has great size. Athleticism and feet seemed good too.

We have used Pat Flemming and Brad Haynes quite a bit as tight ends, with Pat being a senior, he could at the least help in that role.

It's on the other sites that he comitted and was recruited to play tackle. You could see him playing like Fleming though as a bruiser. Worth noting is he went to the same JC as Sterling.

So question: with two years of eligibility left do you think the thought is he steps in and competes for that right spot where we've been thin this year or is he ready to go after the seniors play out next year? Probably good for competition for the established line to keep getting pushed. Wonder if he's coming in January.

Interested in Stallion's take on this guy. Yet another California recruit.

With LeRebius coming back next year could we have two complete lines?

Does anyone know if Josh IS coming back? Hasn't exactly seemed interested in doing the things you'd expect of someone who wants to play football.

Hasn't Josh been practicing with the team all season?

he's not on the team-I don't think he can practice or workout with the team-unless they recently changed the rules

He has been with the team the whole year, working with the scout unit.
