As some on this board have suggested, then why are they going after our commits?
If all goes to plan - by the time these kids are seniors - we will be playing in a BCS game and TCU will be hosting the Armed Forces Bowl.

Is TCU going to drop off anytime soon? It seems like they have things in place to be good for a while.

And I'd still like an answer to the question how they could possible be a year and year out top 20 team with year in and year out top 50 recruiting talent.

I've answered that question multiple times-you just don't like the answer.

Its a great ?
The major flaw in the rivals argument....TCU has never had a top 25 recruiting class

Here's all you need to know:
TCU did it by recruiting players who were not swayed by the following at the time of their recruitment:
1. BLACK Uniforms
2. Purple Lizard Mascot
3. Ugly Purple school color
4. A Coach who doesn't wear appropriate school colors or clothing on the field with a Hawaiian Lei and no socks
5. A Coach who never embraces the heritage and traditions of his school

I must have forgotten. See if you can muster up one that doesn't bring ladies fashion into the equation.

I love that you have now turned the discussion to whining about June Jones. A coach who turned us around from one of the crappiest D1 programs for nearly 20 years to a program with back to back bowl games and a conference championship game. You truly are the whiniest [deleted] in the world.

I'm pretty sure TCU was in a similar position that we are in now, 10 or so years ago. They've stayed the course, continued good recruiting, and Patterson has given the program a lot of stability.
I doubt their recruits 10 years ago were any better than ours are now.
Just gotta stay on track.

also the the ranking of a recruiting class is somewhat dubious. it is a huge transition from HS to D1 and many of highly touted recruits fail, also many who don't get a lot of offers flourish. not to mention coaching isa huge x factor in the success a HS kid will enjoy in College

You better be careful or the Stallion will get you....
Rivals evidence says that the failure rate among top recruits is much smaller than you think...Ask the Stallion...

Well I bet Rivals would not consider Cam newton a recruiting failure, but I bet Florida would, which is right?

another that comes to mind is that kid Mustane who went to Ark, played one year did well got a new coach so transfered and never played again (3rd string at USC) that seems like a recruiting failure considering he was number 1 overall
