Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFObviously there is no exact science to measure a recruiting class. However, like Stallion, I believe that looking at the offers a player has is more valuable than their star ranking - this is even more relevant based on the fact that Rivals is much quicker to give out 3 stars now than they were 5 years ago. I only included D1A offers...
Here it is... SMU 27 Players 92 Total Offers 38 BCS Offers TCU 25 123 80 Rice 20 59 12 Hou 22 41 21 UCF 26 111 76 Based on this, UCF had an outstanding class. Houston had a weak class...thought you guys might be curious like I was.
Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFHow many pages are you going to post on?

Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFRF- interesting info. However, the true results/successes only show up on the field. This weekend there is game called the Superbowl. We (SMU) have one player playing and a general manager there. How do the little froggies stack up this weekend?
GO PONIES!!!
Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFThis is analysis of someone who attended a second tier university. Take is with a grain of salt.

Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFI like ReedFrawg. He is a good and knowledgeable poster and an SMU supporter outside of his ties to TCU. Lets not lump him in with some of the other western visitors.

Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFReedFrog may be one of the only worthwhile posters that comes over here from froggieland.
Seems we did not reap the reward of the Hawaii Bowl win until this season's recruiting class - I suspect that TCU will really reap the reward from their Rose bowl in NEXT year's class. One thing to note though - like it or not - the gap between the two is closing. I love seeing both get better and if last year's game atmosphere is any indication SMU-TCU should be a great game for the next few years! "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFThere are a few froggie lurkers that have a little sense. Most just belong back in the purple swamp.
Next fall I expect we will show them that we are rapidly developing better sports teams and will be more than competitive with them. GO PONIES!!!
Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCF
you're new here, so we'll take this with a grain of salt b/c you don't know good from bad yet. Reedfrog is a worthwhile poster with generally unbiased, well thought out posts. not mindless purple dribble. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFI like RF's analysis. Sure it isn't exact but it does give one an idea of the interest in the players a school recruits.
Re: Offer Breakdown - TCU, SMU, UH, Rice and UCFi hate being forced to friend the purple. sigh.
