Dshaie Landor, fresh off an impressive showing at the Baton Rouge NUC, talks about recruiting with Scout.com. While Landor doesn't have prototype QB size, he's determined to play that position in college. Read further to get the details.

They list him at 6'0" but I guess that is generous. Looking at his picture with that football it makes him look tiny. But he is fast. Have to see how he throws.

back in my day, H.S. QBs got offered because they were usually the best athlete on their teams and many wound up playing as DBs. For JJ, aren't these smaller, athletic QBs being recruited as slot receivers?

Is JJ changing his philosophy a little to get running qb's? Seems like the qb's we're talking to this year are all 6'0" or under and are dual threat guys and they're all saying smu wants them to play qb while others are recruiting them as athletes. strange.

Pillow talk.

They'll be playing slot.

Probably guys like Jeremy Johnson were told they'd play WR only except for possible wildcat situations and I think it was a pretty consistent message. I couldn't imagine JJ sacrificing any passing ability to get a running qb but if it happens, you owe me a burger & beer

JJ always recruits QB's as athletes because they are generally smarter players and can play so AND understand so many positions in college from QB to slot to DB to Safety, etc.
