Chill out Grandpa, we're recruiting athletes with swagger not band members (nothing against band members).

I am not ready to jump to conclusions about his character based solely on the music he chooses to listen to.

I think we should only recruit those student athletes who have a deep appreciation for Tony Bennett. I think that would work out really well for us.

Those highlights are very impressive. He looks like a guy who can take it the distance almost any time he touches the ball.

on that first kick return, it doesn't look like the coerage team even had anyone on his side of the field.

If you read between the lines in this ESPN story, it's going to be very difficult to hold onto him (not exactly breaking news, but thought it was worth noting).

Good info on Gabriel Marks as well, who is one of our current WR targets and apparently has quite a bit of interest.

Based on those statistics, along with plenty of available game film, several schools started to contact Lewis. At one point, the ESPNU 150 Watch List member decided SMU was the best fit for him and he gave the Mustangs a verbal commitment back in late February.

Apparently, Lewis is keeping his options open these days.

“I committed to SMU, but I'm listening to all the colleges,'' Lewis said. “It's still early in the recruiting process, I think things are going to get bigger and better for me.''

So he's going to the Army All-American game, does that make him an Army All-American? If he stays committed and we snag some of the other Cali kids and Wheeler here in Texas, we'll have a big contingent at that game this year.

that doesn't sound very good, but it's a long way until 2012.

Sounds like he is more than prepared to jump ship but when we've toasted aTm and TCwho and have taken our rightful place in the top 25 he will see the light.
