We just talked to Lockhart ATH Trey Griffin and he told us he has verbally committed to SMU. The full story is on our Austin Area Prospects site:

He added that Richard Bartel, Don Stansbury, Earl Morris and an offensive lineman from Irving were also there this weekend.

One of the things Copeland said at the meeting last week was that the new school recruiting rules would let us get the prospects in earlier. He said we had a couple of big december weekends for a change. Looks like we had a good group in and got some results last weekend. Lets hope this weekend is as productive.
