This just in...Division I schools still offering recruits

Wow! Can you believe that?
According to some, there was supposedly this artificial offering deadline of around April 1 that if not all of the offers went out to all of the Texas Division I kids, then there would be hell to pay.
What's strange is that I'm reading stories on Rivals about Texas kids who haven't made a commitment decision yet. And yet they have the nerve to come out and say that they are receiving offers from Texas schools.
Wow. I thought they couldn't accept offers because of this mythical April 1 deadline.
I also thought that this May evaluation period was more flash over substance.
Maybe some recruiting "know it alls" like to proclaim the gospel when in reality their guess is as good as yours.
Food for thought.
