The big (6-1, 230, 4.6) RB from Flatonia, Texas, is at Southwest Texas State this weekend, WILL BE AT SMU NEXT WEEKEND (the weekend of the Ponies' banquet) and Florida State the following week. This would be a huge pickup for the Ponies if we can get him.

He's listing an interesting mix of schools. Florida State would be a no-brainer if he was good enough for them and was offered, but I expect that is unrealistic for him. Is it down to SMU or SW Texas? How does that happen to a kid with his size & speed? Maybe a fear he played at a small school? What kind of student is this kid? Does he even qualify to get in?
I'd love to see us get a big running back and see us play more 2 back sets, especially in the red zone when we need to be able to run the ball.
