Corey Ford's SAT results

Corey Ford received his SAT scores today and found them to be very pleasant indeed. Corey scored an 870 and currently has a 3.0 GPA. Unfortunately SMU requires their athletes to make an 890, however Corey informed Coach Giles that he would take the test again. Congradulations Corey on a jog well done.

That's good news. Best news is that an 890 score will gain Corey admission. I've been lead to believe it took a 950 score to qualify. With the 3.0 GPA, that tells me he's serious about his studies. My son improved 100 pts the 2nd time he took the SAT, so let's hope Corey can top 900...and more important...that he signs with the Ponies next February. We need big guys who can run!

If Corey Ford qualifies/is accepted - will he commit to SMU/ suit up for the Ponies?

I don't really know at this point, however just yesterday he told me that he was going to retake the test to insure that he will be able to attend SMU.
