I just saw this young in a 3 way tie for Elite 11 MVP honors. Trent Dilfer just had nothing but good things to say about him. I hope we at least take a look at him.

Awesome. Outside of Beathard and Dewey, this was the kid I wanted.

found this.

"I don't know his story, but I know he rises to the occasion," O'Brien said. "When the competition heats up out here, he doesn't bat an eye. He just quietly, confidently makes the play. That's when you really notice him.

sounds like-and looks like from pictures-that the main missing ingredient is physical development. Good situation for SMU and Burcham because he most likely will redshirt anyway

Glad to see that we'll have several talented QB's to work with over the next few years. You can never have enough talent at the position

Agree but he is tall, could be another padron type build with legs after you bulk him up...prefect qb to take with padron and gilbert on roster....

So a pay site (I only have one subscription as I find multiple subscriptions completely unncessary) is now running stories that a QB committed to SMU based on what another recruit told them?

The pay site couldn't get verification from the 2012 kid himself or his HS coach to make sure he did this before running it?

I would hope this is an accurate story.

I remember hearing Steve Spurrier saying his teams have to sign "at least one" quarterback in every class. He always wants four or five on his roster.

With the QB chaos he has endured this year, it wouldn't be surprising to see him sign three this year at South Carolina.

I agree, it did seem like odd sourcing compared to the way they usually report commitments.

Don't see him listed as committed anywhere
